With the help of our member Betty we have obtained funding for us to sponsor and organize a fun learning family day.
Date: 12th October, 2014, 1pm to 4pm.
Venue: Queen Edith Primary School.
We will have different stalls for family to try and involve such as Lion dance, Chinese folk dance, Tai Chi, Chinese musical instruments, Chinese calligraphy, Chinese embroidery, games such as table tennis/shuttlecock and snack making. The event is open to everyone. Please do come to join us and please pass the message on.
We are recruiting tutors in Chinese instruments, calligraphy and simple Chinese food. Please contact Betty at ffcat10000@yahoo.co.uk if you are interested in becoming a tutor with us. The centre will pay 15 pounds for each tutor and provide the all materials needed.
