The event’s preparation has received strong support and help from many local communities. This reflects a healthy multi-ethnic and multi-cultural exchange in our area and a high level of integration. We are proud to announce that the Lord Lieutenant of Cambridgeshire, the Mayor of Cambridge and other government officials, will be coming to celebrate Chinese New Year with us. It shows that our growing Cambridge Chinese Community has drawn more attention and respect and we are honored to welcome them.

Both Thai and the Polish Communities in Cambridge have prepared some dancing for us and the Our own ladies dancing group will of course perform some of their dances including a colourful Minority dance from the South West area of China. Students from the Cambridge University Dancing society will also perform three amazing dances in party. It is particularly worth mentioning that the well known soprano, Lu Miao, a Cambridge resident, will be singing to express her blessing. Finally Iona Luvsandorj whose performance in the hit TV show ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ was so well received, will be here in Cambridge and performing for us at our party. See her website and dance performance on : (http://www.ionacontortionist.com) & (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1kqyA6L5r3M&feature=youtu.be)
